The Temple of the Sacred Tooth (Sri Dalaga Maligawa) was originally built by the Kandyan kings in 1595, to house and honor the sacred tooth relic of the Buddha. Attracting crowds of white–clad pilgrims bearing lotus flowers as means of worship, the Maligawa features a myriad of intricate carvings that speak volumes of the architectural values of Kandy. Today the city of Kandy is a UNESCO World Heritage site in part because of the temple of the tooth relic.

The Royal Botanical Gardens in Peradeniya, Sri Lanka is one of the largest and richest gardens in Asia. It's known for its orchid collection, spice garden, and palm trees. The gardens are 147 acres (0.59 km2) and 460 meters above sea level.

The Gem Museum in Kandy, Sri Lanka is a tourist attraction that features a private collection of precious stones, fossils, and artifacts. The museum also has a reconstruction of a Sri Lankan gem mine and a video that explains how gems are mined and set into jewelry.

The Kandyan dance is a classical dance tradition of Sri Lanka. It is considered the national dance of Sri Lanka and is named after the last royal capital of the country. The dance is believed to have originated in the 4th century BC from fear of natural disasters and illnesses.

NUWARA-ELIYA

The town has a golf course, racecourse, Victoria Park, and trout fishing. It's also surrounded by beautiful tea estates, rose gardens, and British-style houses.

VISIT TO NUWARA-ELIYA CITY

This town is at the highest elevation (About 2000m above Sea level) in Sri Lanka. The city was established by the British in the 19th century, and is known as β€œLittle England” and a popular resort for Sri Lankans and tourists due to its cool climate and quaint colonial feel with its little bungalows surrounded by hedgerows.

VISIT TO LAKE GREGORY

Lake Gregory sometimes also called Gregory Lake or Gregory Reservoir, is a reservoir in the heart of the tea country hill city of Nuwaraeliya in Sri Lanka. Lake Gregory was created during the period of British Governor Sir William Gregory in 1873. The lake and the surrounding area make up the Gregory Lake Area.

YALA NATIONAL PARK

Yala National Park is a 1,268 sq km national park in Sri Lanka. It's known for its rich wildlife, which includes elephants, crocodiles, buffaloes, monkeys, deer, peacocks, snake eagles, and more.

Yala is divided into five blocks, with two blocks open to the public. The park's landscape includes scrub, light forests, grassy plains, brackish lagoons, tanks, lakes, and waterholes. The accessible parts of the park are dominated by low coastal dry zone scrub, with trees such as sickle bush, toothbrush trees, ziziphus, and Palu.

BENTOTA

Bentota lies at the finishing end of the β€œGolden Mile” which is an hour’s drive from Colombo. Famous for its prime beaches Bentota is today one of Sri Lanka’s most sought-after tourist destinations. The town of Bentota actually, sits on an estuary, where the river and the sea meet. This makes the area quite famous for water sports.

ISIT TO MADU RIVER

Madu River boat safari, Madu River connects a complex network of lagoons and mangrove waterways. This habitat makes a fascinating birding experience, and as a result of the biodiversity that is dependent on its ecology, it has been declared a β€˜Ramsar’ site.

The Bentota Turtle Hatchery protects turtle eggs until they hatch and are ready to swim back to the ocean. The hatchery also rescues injured turtles and provides care and treatment before releasing them back into the sea
